Before the time of the pandemic there was sense of wonder and whimsy in the world, but now bad things are happening all the time. What if bad things happened, but they were cool bad things like Alien invasions or Donkey Kong smashing up your street? Would the everyday acts of shocking violence really seem so bad if a Lake Placid Crocodile is rampaging the streets and Bill Pullman is too old as shit to do anything?
